2025 Regional Transportation Plan

The public comment period for this effort has closed. The Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) is slated for adoption on November 18^th, 2025.

COLUSA COUNTY 2025 REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN

The Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) guides our transportation investments for many modes of travel, including public transit, automobiles, trucks, trains, bicycles, pedestrians and to some extent airplanes. Regional Transportation Plan guidelines require the RTP to be updated every 4 or 5 years and span a planning horizon over the next 20 years. The last RTP was adopted in 2018. The 2025 RTP Update will be compliant with new standards set in the adopted 2024 Regional Transportation Plan Guidelines for Regional Transportation Planning Agencies.

The Colusa County RTP will provide the framework for prioritizing transportation projects, identifying funding sources and scheduling future project implementation. This document has become increasingly important as funding resources constrict, planning efforts coordinate, and new programs expand.
