Public Assistance
Responsibilities of the Public Assistance Division
- Determining eligibility and providing assistance for CalWORKs, CalFresh (formerly Food Stamps), Health Care, General Assistance, Refugee and Immigrant Programs and Homeless Programs.
- Securing grant funding to support housing for Colusa County residents.
Social Services
Responsibilities of the Social Services Division include:
- Overseeing child and adult protective services as well as public guardians
