CDBG Program
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program was established by the federal Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. The California program is administered by the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).
The purpose of Colusa County’s CDBG Program is to provide housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities with the principal purpose of benefiting low to moderate income persons in the County.
The County is working hard to put it's Program Income Funds to work in eligible and worthy projects that benefit low to moderate income persons and other eligible individuals within Colusa County. Once the County's existing Program Income Funds have been expended for eligible projects there will be additional opportunities in the future to apply for CDBG program funds.
